Freedom Singers

The name of this group only hints at what brothers Simon and Wesley overcame to even be in this country. Refugees from Romania, these two young men did not wish to have their freedom of worship stripped away, so they endured thirst, sickness, heat and imminent danger as they escaped to Canada. They made Kelowna, BC their final destination and formed a quartet to begin singing gospel music. Their story may be unique, but their prayer is that all will be able to experience the true freedom that comes from knowing God. This message is very evident in every song that they sing and every message that they deliver.
